Venkat Mattela, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Mattela has over 30 years of engineering and management experience in the semiconductor industry. Prior to joining Redpine, Mr. Mattela was at Network Media Platforms Group of Analog Devices as Director and was responsible for the product, strategy and business development for media wireless connectivity solutions (WLAN, WMAN). He also led the VLSI development from concept engineering to release of multiple industry leading networking silicon products resulting in a multi-million dollar product line. Prior to joining ADI, Mr. Mattela was at Infineon Technologies as Director and was responsible for micro-architecture and design of TriCore MCU-DSP processor. He led the team to take the architecture to multiple silicon implementations. Mr. Mattela started his career at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, India in January 1983 and held various engineering positions at LSI Logic, LMSI and CMC Ltd. Mr. Mattela has a Masters Degree in Computer Sciences from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, India and holds 11 US patents.


Tim Vehling, President

Tim Vehling joined Redpine Signals in November of 2017, and has over 25 years of management experience combined with a broad technology background. Vehling's expertise includes leading global teams, fostering strategic relationships with partners and customers, and driving successful product and revenue-growth strategies. Prior to joining Redpine Signals, Vehling held the position of Vice President of Mobile Division at Synaptics where he was responsible for the product and customer strategies resulting in market-leading touch controller, display driver, and biometric products generating over $1B of annual revenue. Prior to that, Vehling was Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Connectivity Products Group at Silicon Image where he grew revenue to over $200M and led the global engineering, marketing, and application engineering teams for the HDMI, MHL, and 60GHz mmWave product lines. Prior to that, Vehling was Vice President of Marketing and Applications Engineering for digital television SoCs at Micronas Gmbh. Prior to that, Vehling was Vice President of Consumer Marketing at LSI, where he helped establish the company as a global leader in video processing SoC's. Vehling has extensive international experience and has worked in Tokyo, Japan and Munich, Germany. Vehling holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Valparaiso University, Indiana, and holds several patents.


Mallik Reddy, Executive Vice President

Mr. Reddy is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 24 years of management and engineering experience. Mr. Reddy has been integrally involved in the Redpine Signals vision, strategy, and leadership and has a very successful track record of founding and building multi-national technology companies. Immediately prior to joining Redpine Signals, Mr. Reddy founded Netcube Systems, a leading provider of technology consulting services for a broad spectrum of Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. Prior to that he has held key management and engineering positions in Pelican, Softec, Sybase, SUN, Oracle, GTE and AC Nielsen. Mr. Reddy holds MS in Computer Science from University of Florida.


Narasimha Nookala, Vice President, Engineering

Narasimha Nookala is an accomplished and successful engineering executive with over 30 years of engineering and technology development experience in SOC design, embedded software development in mobile and IoT markets. He recruited, developed and managed world class global teams and delivered highly successful low power, high performance SOCs and mixed signal ICs. Mr. Nookala has pioneered low power design architectures and designs and holds multiple patents. He worked closely with marketing and sales, FAE and customer support, customers, engineering teams to create win-win strategies. Narasimha was a founding member of MediaQ, a low power SOC company that was acquired by NVidia. He also worked at Intel, Becton-Dickinson, Silicon Image. Narasimha has an MS in Computer Science from Wayne State University an M.Tech in EE from IIT, Chennai.


Chandra Sekhar Abburi, Vice President, Systems and Software

Mr. Abburi has over 26 years of experience in a range of areas including, product development, management, and customer support. He manages systems and was instrumental in the creation of Redpine Signals system lab for the validation wireless systems. He is now responsible for manufacturing operations of all our systems products. Prior to Redpine Signals, Mr. Abburi led the engineering group of Exaband in the development of a VOIP product for their internet-based unified messaging system. Mr. Abburi possesses a Masters degree in Advanced Electronics from JNTU, Hyderabad, India.


Narasimhan Venkatesh, Vice President, Advanced Technologies

Mr. Venkatesh has over 28 years of engineering and management experience in wireless system design, telecommunications, optical networking and avionics. Mr. Venkatesh is a key wireless technologist and champions the universal integration of wireless into embedded systems. His responsibilities include leading the development of wireless systems at Redpine's development center in Hyderabad, and their application in diverse industry areas. Prior to joining Redpine Signals, Mr. Venkatesh was General Manager of Paxonet Communications. Prior to that, he was Deputy Manager in the avionics research unit of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. Mr. Venkatesh holds a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, India.


Dhiraj Sogani, Vice President, Marketing

Mr. Sogani has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor, system and design automation industries. In his current role at Redpine, he has the worldwide responsibility for marketing of all wireless products. He has also held the responsibility of Wireless Module Business Unit prior to the current role. Mr. Sogani joined Redpine from Wi2Wi, a wireless sub-system provider, where he served as the General Manager & Sr. Vice President and successfully launched multiple products in Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS markets. Prior to joining Wi2Wi, Mr. Sogani co-founded and served as VP of Engineering and Marketing at ICONIC Technologies, a System-in-Package company that developed products in the data communication and networking market segments. Mr. Sogani has also served as Vice President of Product Marketing and Applications for Sequence Design, Inc. (now part of Ansys) and has held senior level marketing and engineering positions with Duet Technologies (now part of NXP). Mr. Sogani holds a BSEE from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India, an MBA from Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University and Certificates in Marketing & Project Management from University of California, Berkeley. He also holds multiple US patents.


David Casey, Vice President, World-wide Sales

Mr. Casey is a seasoned Semiconductor Executive with over 25 years of experience in building strong sales teams, driving new demand and creating strategic customer partnerships. He has extensive global experience managing channel relationships and developing new business. Prior to joining Redpine Signals, Inc, Mr. Casey held Executive level positions at Renesas, Alliance Semiconductor, California Micro and Gainspan Corporation. He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, Houston Texas.
