Redpine Launches Industry's First MCU Family Designed for Smart and Secure IoT Devices

Redpine Signals®, Inc. launched the RS12000 SmartMCU, the industry's first family of MCUs designed specifically to meet the high MIPS, memory and security demands of IoT devices, while at the same time improving battery life compared to traditional ARM® Cortex® -M4 MCUs. Based on a unique optimized multi-core IoT processor architecture, the new RS12000 SmartMCU family delivers best-in-class performance, ultra-low-power, and highly-secure operation, making it ideal for IoT edge-intelligent, voice assistant-enabled, and network and cloud connected devices.

Redpine Signals' RS13100 WiSeMCU for high quality audio streaming for wireless headphones

Redpine Signals' RS13100 WiSeMCU family of SoCs and modules provides a highly integrated and secure solution with dual-mode Bluetooth® 5 for bluetooth audio headsets. The headset battery life is extended with ultra-low power consumption with multiple power modes to reduce the system energy consumption. With an integrated communications processor and digital audio interfaces the module subsystem carries out all the functional requirements of the speaker unit receiver - including time synchronized robust wireless connectivity, network stack, and link control.

The RS13100 provides the necessary wireless connectivity options and processing power for audio, data transfer, and control for such audio devices.
