Connect-io-n™ & WiSeConnect™ products are ideal for systems which have low end host microcontrollers (even simple 8-bit microcontrollers are fine) running an RTOS or even no operating system. Wi-Fi only SoCs and modules provide single band (2.4GHz, 802.11bgn 1x1) and dual band Wi-Fi (2.4/5 GHz, 802.11abgn 1x1) connectivity. These products interface using UART, SPI or USB host interfaces. All the wireless stacks and networking stacks run on the module - user has an option to bypass the networking stack if there is already another one in the host microcontroller. Simple AT commands or binary commands are used to communicate with the host. Embedded products provide up to 40 Mbps Wi-Fi application throughput with multiple operating modes such as Wi-Fi Client, Wi-Fi Access Point, Wi-Fi Direct and Simultaneous Wi-Fi Client & Access Point. All of the products are provided in industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range. User also has a choice of several SoCs and module package (with and without antenna) options depending upon the system requirements.
