WiSeMote™ Wearables

The WiSeMote tag is a part of one of the first RTLS tag families in the industry where the tag manufacturer owns the active Wi-Fi technology. This translates into an unprecedented level of energy efficiency and reliability, backed by IP protection and strategic roadmap alignment with future generations of RTLS.

The WiSeMote wearable tags are available in single and dual-band (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz) and support multiple modes of operation Sites that have Cisco-based APs and back-end mobility services (such as WCS , MSE) can use the CCX mode. The tags also operate in the Redpine RPX mode where the complete locationing solution is offered by Redpine. The locationing infrastructure may comprise Redpine's devices or standard Access Points, or a mix of both.

In addition to location, the tags also provide telemetry information (battery life, motion and temperature). They also have an emergency button which can be used to configure system alarms and notifications. Power consumption can be optimized by configuring different update rates while at rest compared Vs while in motion.

The WiseMote tag is available in two variants:
