Chokepoint Exciter

The WM-CPE Chokepoint Exciter is the industry's first fully Wi-Fi compliant device that wakes up RTLS tags and registers their presence. It uses Wi-Fi packets to wake up WiSeMote tags in the vicinity, collects information on them and forwards the information to a designated server. The device can be mounted on the ceiling at an exit or at the side of an exit or doorway. It is powered either through a DC supply or through PoE. It interfaces to the network through a standard Ethernet connection. It is accompanied by a software module that runs on a server on the network to which it opens a connection and forwards information about tags woken up by it. The WM-CPE Chokepoint Exciter is compatible with Redpine's WM2 asset tag and WM3 badge tag.

The WM-CPE device operates with Redpine's complete WiSeMote RTLS solution and also independently of it - enabling standalone installations or installations that integrate ingress and egress detection into an independent asset management solution.

WM-CPE Data Aggregator

The Data Aggregator is a Windows software that receives, displays and logs the location information of tags sent by the Chokepoint Exciter. It also makes the location information of the tag available to third party applications over MQTT.
