RS9110 n-Link™ Module Family
(Single Stream Wi-Fi® (2.4/5 GHz) module)

The n-Link module family are a complete Wi-Fi client device with an integrated MAC, baseband processor, RF transceiver and power amplifier. Based on the Redpine's RS9110 MAC/baseband processor, the module provides a complete end-to-end solution for ultra low power WLAN applications. It conforms to the 802.11n standard in single-stream mode and includes an embedded processor with a rich set of peripherals, offering minimal load on a host processor, to which it can connect through SDIO and SPI interfaces.

The n-Link module Family is suitable for high throughput applications where software stack runs on the host processor utilizing the networking stack of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, Embedded OS like WinCE and RTOS. The OneBox software package developed by Redpine Signals allows for the same hardware design to operate in both Wi-Fi station and access point modes. The solution also supports Wi-Fi Direct. Both SDIO and SPI interfaces are supported in this solution.

The n-Link family module variants are available in 2.4 GHz or dual mode supporting both 2.4 and 5 GHz.
